Who is responsible for your information

Pro Detail Essentials is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to info@prodetailessentials.com.

Information we collect

When you make an enquiry or booking request, we collect your name, email address, optional telephone number, vehicle details, requested date, service and package selections, and any notes you choose to provide.

The website also uses limited technical information, including submission timing and a protected network and browser fingerprint, to prevent spam, abuse and duplicate requests. The anti-abuse fingerprint is not displayed publicly.

How and why we use it

We use your information to respond to enquiries, assess your vehicle requirements, manage booking requests, provide services and aftercare, keep appropriate business records, and protect the booking service from misuse.

Depending on the activity, we rely on steps taken at your request before entering a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business and its booking system.

Who receives it

Information is available only to PDE and trusted providers that support website hosting, secure data storage and business administration. It may also be disclosed to professional advisers, regulators or authorities where reasonably necessary or legally required.

We do not sell personal information. If a provider processes information outside the UK, appropriate protections will be used where required by data protection law.

How long we keep it

Booking and enquiry records are kept only for as long as reasonably needed to manage the request, provide the service, handle aftercare or disputes, and meet legal, tax or accounting requirements.

Short-lived anti-abuse records are automatically removed when they are no longer needed. When information is no longer required, it is deleted or securely anonymised where appropriate.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal information, restrict or object to its use, and receive a portable copy. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis used.

PDE does not use booking information for solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects, and the public website currently uses no non-essential advertising or analytics cookies.
